Africa Kosher Safaris was founded in order to provide the kosher tourist with a truly exciting and comfortable African experience without the hassle of looking for Kashrut in the bush.

In the two or three weeks you spend with us, you will be shown a large and diverse part of this beautiful country, and we are sure that once you have experienced the magic of Africa with us, you will be drawn back many times.

Yoni Isaacson was born in Johannesburg. He attended high school at the Yeshiva College of South Africa and studied at Yeshivat Kerem b'Yavne, Yeshiva Gedolah of Johannesburg, and the University of South Africa. He received rabbinical ordination (Semicha) in Jerusalem in July 2000. He currently runs the Mesivta at the Yeshiva College of South Africa. In addition to his role as a Rabbi, he holds a Bsc in Computer and Management Science, and has a keen interest in travel. He has a detailed knowledge of most of Southern Africa, and has led many tours in South Africa and Zimbabwe. Yoni is responsible for the planning of all tours run by Africa Kosher Safaris.

Kidwel Serongwane grew up in Soweto, the vibrant black township of Johannesburg. He is a self-educated chef, chauffeur, catering manager, madrich, and entertainer, and is in charge of looking after all Africa Kosher Safaris guests. He prides himself on knowing more Jewish Law than the average Jew, and delights all our guests with his charming personality and wonderful food. Together with his catering staff, he is guaranteed to make your stay in Africa an unforgettably colourful experience.
