Proposed Itinerary: 6 - 17 JULY 2008



Sunday 6 July: Lowveld and Kruger National Park
Depart Johannesburg for your land journey through magnificent scenery to the Lowveld, the gateway to the world-famous Kruger National Park. On the way, do a tour of some magnificent caves (option of adventure caving trip as well). After lunch, enjoy a late afternoon/night safari searching for the Big 5.

Monday 7 July: Kruger National Park
Enjoy a full day in the Kruger National park looking for the animals you have not seen, and more of those that you have seen.

Tuesday 8 July: Blyde River Canyon
Travel up the magnificent Kowyn's Pass, to tour the scenic panaroma route. Visit the magnificent Bourkes luck potholes, G-d's window, and the unbeatable view of the 3 Rondawels and the Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon and largest green canyon in the world! . Hiking enthusiasts can spend a few hours hiking in the canyon.

Wednesday 9 July: Private Game Reserve (5 star)
Visit the Moholoholo Wildlife orphanage. Transfer to private game reserve. Safari in private reserve, hoping for some close encounters with the big 5.

Thursday 10 July: Private Game Reserve (5 star)
Morning safaris in private game reserve. Fly to Cape Town (direct flight from Kruger area subject to availability at time of booking)

Friday 11 July: Cape Town
Enjoy a magnificent tour of Table Mountain. The energetic ones can attempt the climb (time-permitting) , otherwise the cablecar is the easy way up. Enjoy the breathtaking aerial views from the summit- don't forget your cameras!The brave one's can attempt the 110m abseil/rappelling from the summit (time-permitting). Prepare for Shabbos

Saturday 12 July: Cape Town
Enjoy a lovely Shabbos with the warm Jewish communities of Cape Town. Have a guided tour of some of the diverse shuls in the neighbourhood.

Sunday 13 July: Cape Town
Enjoy a scenic drive around the Cape Peninsula to Cape Point, the meeting place of two oceans, and the famous Cape of Good Hope. Visit the Penguin colony and take a boat cruise out to Seal island. Late evening flight to Johannesburg.

Monday 14 July: Chobe
Morning flight to Victoria Falls and transfer across the border into Botswana.

Enter the Chobe National Park by jeep for some close encounters with Chobe's massive elephant herds, and many other animals.

Tuesday 15 July: Chobe
Rise early for an early morning jeep safari on the Chobe River banks, searching for Chobe lion and other animals.

Enjoy a thrilling afternoon safari cruise on the Chobe River looking at hippo, crocodile, large elephant herds, and the best sunset you've ever seen.

Wednesday 16 July: Victoria Falls
Travel to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwean side . Experience the thrill of the largest curtain of falling water in the world.

Thursday 17 July: Victoria Falls
Cross the border into Zambia. View the Victoria Falls on the Zambian side. Afternoon flight back to Johannesburg.
